Nelepsittacus daphneleeae
Taxonomy
Nelepsittacus daphneleeae was named by Worthy et al. (2011). Its type specimen is NMNZ S.50826, a limb element (Distal humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is HH1b Home Hills Station (H41/f90), which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large sandstone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.
