Australonycteris clarkae
Taxonomy
Australonycteris clarkae was named by Hand et al. (1994). Its type specimen is QM F19147, a tooth (left m?2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia. It is the type species of Australonycteris.
