Helanshania deserta
Taxonomy
Helanshania deserta was named by Vianey-Liaud et al. (2010). Its type specimen is UTL1-50, a tooth (Left second lower molar (m2)), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulantatal (UTL1), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial siltstone/claystone in the Ulantatal Formation of China. It is the type species of Helanshania.
