Punadolops alonsoi
Taxonomy
Prepidolops alonsoi was named by Pascual (1983). Its type specimen is MLP 81-XI-15-1, a maxilla (Fragment of right maxilla with complete P3-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pozuelos salt flat, Quebrada El Paso, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial horizon in the Geste Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Punadolops.
It was recombined as Punadolops alonsoi by Goin et al. (1998).
