Persiatherium rodleri
Taxonomy
Persiatherium rodleri was named by Pandolfi (2015). Its type specimen is NHMW 2014/0426/0001, a partial skull (Basal portion of skull with right and left maxillae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kopran, Maragheh, which is in a Vallesian terrestrial horizon in Iran. It is the type species of Persiatherium.
