Callistoe vincei

Taxonomy
Callistoe vincei was named by Babot et al. (2002). Its type specimen is PVL 4187, a partial skeleton (Nearly complete skull lacking right I1–3 and crown of right and left M1; almost complete jaw lacking left p1 and crowns of right p2 and m1; partially preserved ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Callistoe.
