Pampatemnus infernalis
Taxonomy
Pampatemnus infernalis was named by Vucetich and Bond (1982). Its type specimen is MLP 79-XI-22-12, a partial skeleton (Partial skull and fragmentary postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, between rivers Toro and Bordo, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial horizon in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pampatemnus.
