Aphanocrex podarces (Saint Helena rail)

Taxonomy
Aphanocrex podarces was named by Wetmore (1963). Its type specimen is BMNH S/1963.1.1, a set of limb elements (left tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Atlantisia podarces by Olson (1973), Olson (1977).
