Porzana astrictocarpus (Saint Helena crake)
Taxonomy
Porzana astrictocarpus was named by Olson (1973). Its type specimen is USNM 175893, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Prosperous Bay (Olson collection), which is in a Holocene terrestrial sandstone in Saint Helena.
