Taxonomy

Sucinostyphlus was named by Kuska (1996). Its type is Sucinostyphlus mroczkowskii.

It was assigned to Notarini by Kuska (1996); to Ellescini by Legalov (2015), Legalov and Bukejs (2018) and Legalov (2019); and to Styphlina by Legalov (2023).
