Epicaerus excissus

Taxonomy
Phyxelis excissus was named by Scudder (1893). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Roan Mountain (Scudder Coll), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Epicaerus excissus by Legalov (2015).
