Sphenotitan leyesi
Taxonomy
Sphenotitan leyesi was named by Martinez et al. (2013). Its type specimen is PVSJ 886, a partial skull (partially articulated posterior portion of adult skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Balde de Leyes (Norian, Quebrada del Barro), which is in a Norian alluvial fan sandstone/siltstone in the Quebrada del Barro Formation of Argentina.
