Eoviscaccia frassinettii
Taxonomy
Eoviscaccia frassinettii was named by Bertrand et al. (2012). Its type specimen is SGOPV 2935, a mandible (partial right mandible bearing p4-m3 and incisor), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.
