Mydiognathus eviohlhoffae

Taxonomy

Mydiognathus eviohlhoffae was named by Yoshizawa and Leinhard (2016). Its type specimen is SMNS Bu-174, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Mydiognathus.

Synonyms

Psocorrhyncha burmitica was named by Huang et al. (2016). Its type specimen is NIGP 161473, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

It was synonymized subjectively with Mydiognathus eviohlhoffae by Kluge (2019).
