Taxonomy
Cadurcodon kazakademius was named by Biryukov (1961). Its type specimen is KAN 663-160/54-T, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Myneske-Suyek, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in Kazakhstan.
