Paleotauriphila marquesi
Taxonomy
Paleotauriphila marquesi was named by Nel and Paicheler (1993). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R.54377, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dauphin, Bois d'Asson (Henrotay coll.), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine horizon in France. It is the type species of Paleotauriphila.
