Taxonomy
Burmalindenia imperfecta was named by Schädel and Bechly (2016). Its type specimen is SMNS Bu-94, a hindwing (fragments of left and right hindwing), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Burmalindenia.
