Kansuchelys chiayukuanensis
Taxonomy
Kansuchelys chiayukuanensis was named by Yeh (1963). Its type specimen is IVPP V 1006, a partial skeleton (carapace and plastron with right posterior part damaged), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kansuchelys chiayukuanensis type locality, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial horizon in China.
It was recombined as Manouria chiayukuanensis by Crumly (1983).
