Entomobrya kirkbyae
Taxonomy
Entomobrya (Entomobrya) kirkbyae was named by Pierce (1960). Its type specimen is Kirkby 5-303, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirkby site 2, Upper Switchback Canyon, which is in a Hemingfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Barstow Formation of California.
It was recombined as Entomobrya kirkbyae by Sánchez-García and Engel (2016).
