Bogdia orientalis
Taxonomy
Bogdia orientalis was named by Dashzeveg and Russell (1985). Its type specimen is PSS 13-5, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagaan Khutel, which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Kholboldchi Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Bogdia.
