Taxonomy
Sulaimania arifi was named by Gunnell et al. (2008). Its type specimen is GSP-UM 6796, a tooth (right [lower] M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gandhera Quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial siltstone in the Ghazij Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Sulaimanius arifi by Gunnell et al. (2012).
