Taxonomy
Brasilopsychopsis kandleri was named by Rumbucher (1995). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (Rumbucher collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Brasilopsychopsis.
