Neolitochropus was named by Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2016).

It was assigned to Phalacridae by Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2016); and to Cyclaxyridae by Gimmel et al. (2019), Gimmel and Szawaryn (2020), Háva (2020).

Synonyms

Olibrolitus was named by Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2020).

It was synonymized subjectively with Neolitochropus by Gimmel and Szawaryn (2020).

It was assigned to Phalacridae by Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2020).
