(1999); to Rhinobatoidei by Underwood and Rees (2002); to Galeomorphii by Sepkoski (2002); and to Rhinobatidae by Jordan (1963), Thies (1983), Cappetta (1987), Biddle (1993), Kriwet (1999), Underwood (2002), Underwood and Ward (2004), Kriwet et al.
