Bohra illuminata

Taxonomy
Bohra illuminata was named by Prideaux and Warburton (2008). Its type specimen is WAM 03.5.10, a partial skeleton (partial adult skeleton including cra- nium, partial left and right dentaries), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Last Tree Cave, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Australia.

Warburton 2008Distinguished from B. paulae by having smaller calcaneum with tuber calcanei relatively shorter and less barrel- shaped; transversely wider, but longitudinally shorter calcaneal-astragalar facets; longer sustentaculum; larger anterior plantar tuberosity; calcaneal-cuboid facets flat rather than V-shaped in transverse plane. Distinguished from B. wilkinsonorum by hav- ing smaller cheek teeth and by lacking posterobuccal accessory cusp, thin low buccal cingulum and thick lingual cingulum on P3, and distinct lingual ‘hook’ of postparacrista on upper molars.
