Taxonomy
Sitsqwayk cornishorum was named by Peredo and Uhen (2016). Its type specimen is UWBM 82916, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Twin River Quarry, which is in a Chattian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Pysht Formation of Washington. It is the type species of Sitsqwayk.
