Taxonomy
Indricotherium parvum was named by Chow (1958). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lunan beds, Anren village, Lunan, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lumeiyi Formation of China.
It was recombined as Urtinotherium parvum by Qiu and Wang (2007).
