Cadurcodon maomingensis
Taxonomy
Cadurcodon maomingensis was named by Averianov et al. (2017). Its type specimen is SYSU-M-3, a partial skeleton (Partial skull with the mandible and associated vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maoming City Oil Shale Quarry, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian lacustrine - large shale in the Youganwo Formation of China.
