Chasselasia eldredgei
Taxonomy
Chasselasia eldredgei was named by Schwartz and Tattersall (1982). Its type specimen is Eh.751, a mandible (Fragment of right mandible with m1-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Egerkingen, gamma fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland. It is the type species of Chasselasia.
