Meniscodon europaeum

Taxonomy
Phenacodus europaeus was named by Rutimeyer (1888). Its type specimen is Eg.514, a tooth (Upper right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Egerkingen, Huppersand fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland.

It was recombined as Meniscodon europaeum by Costeur and Schneider (2011).
