Alveojunctus bowni
Taxonomy
Alveojunctus bowni was named by Silcox et al. (2002). Its type specimen is SDSNH 31788, a tooth (m1 or m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Carmel Mountain Ranch Unit 15 Site 2 (SDSNH 3373), which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Friars Formation of California.
