Graea bitterfeldensis was named by Wunderlich (2004). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Bitterfeld amber (Grabenhorst collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Germany.
It was recombined as Eustaloides bitterfeldensis by Dunlop (2016).
