Gomphaeschna carinthiae
Taxonomy
Gomphaeschna carinthiae was named by Schädel and Lechner (2017). Its type specimen is UMJG&P 211472, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Schaßbach (Universalmuseum Joanneum collection), which is in a Badenian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Mühldorf Formation of Austria.
