Venus lenticularis

Taxonomy
Venus lenticularis was named by Gabb (1864). Its type specimen is ANSP 4393 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Lucina lenticularis by Müller (1841) and Goldfuss (1841); it was recombined as Dozyia lenticularis by Böhm (1885); it was recombined as Eriphyla lenticularis by Fric (1883), Holzapfel (1889), Lundgren (1894), van der Weijden (1943), Dartevelle and Freneix (1957), Saul (1992), Malchus et al. (1994).
