Palaeopinnixa intermedia
Taxonomy
Thaumastoplax intermedia was named by Collins and Morris (1976). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 60008 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gauracara Road, which is in a Serravallian marine sandstone in the Brasso Formation of Trinidad and Tobago.
It was recombined as Palaeopinnixa intermedia by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2001), Schweitzer et al. (2010).
