Hegetotheriopsis sulcatus
Taxonomy
Hegetotheriopsis sulcatus was named by Kramarz and Paz (2013). Its type specimen is MACN Pv CH2015, a partial skull (porción izquierda de rostro y paladar con P1-M3.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bryn Gwyn (Sarmiento Fm), which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Hegetotheriopsis.
