Taxonomy
Loboplanulites subkranaiformis was named by Besnosov (1993). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 115/3311 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tangiduval district (top Tangiduval Fm, middle-upper Bathonian boundary beds), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Tangiduval Formation of Uzbekistan.
