Tanyoscapha sigmanae
Taxonomy
Tanyoscapha sigmanae was named by Cooper (1983). Its type specimen is USNM 550911a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Due east of Campbell Island, which is in a Bartonian carbonate limestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina. It is the type species of Tanyoscapha.
