Taxonomy
Mesoblattinopsis natani was named by Mendes (2000). Its type specimen is UnG/1T-19, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Pedra Branca quarry (UnG collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
