Taxonomy
Odontopleura rattei was named by Etheridge and Mitchell (1896). Its type specimen is A. M. f. 26524 [lectotype chosen by Chatterton 1971], an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Leonaspis rattei by Chatterton (1971).
