Taxonomy
Stenopareia acymata was named by Howells (1982). Its type specimen is BM In21709, an exoskeleton, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Woodland Point, which is in a Rhuddanian marine sandstone/siltstone in the Woodland Formation of the United Kingdom.
