Marosichthys huismani
Taxonomy
Marosia huismani was named by de Beaufort (1926). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Patanuang Asue, which is in a Miocene marine limestone in the Tonasa Limestone Formation of Indonesia. It is the type species of Marosichthys, Marosia.
It was recombined as Marosichthys huismani by Tyler (1997).
