Schizodelphis bogatshowi
Taxonomy
Cyrtodelphis bogatshowi was named by Mchedlidze (1964). Its type specimen is 222 Zarabi EIM, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Perekishkyul, Miocene, which is in a Serravallian marine horizon in Azerbaijan.
It was recombined as Schizodelphis bogatshowi by Muizon (1988).
