Taxonomy
Allodesmus demerei was named by Boessenecker and Churchill (2018). Its type specimen is UWBM 75640, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grays Harbor, which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in the Montesano Formation of Washington.
