Taxonomy
Enaulofungia was named by Fromentel (1859) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bath-u K Sn Sepkoski's reference number: 218]. It is not extant. Its type is Enaulofungia corallina.

It was assigned to Elasmostomatidae by Wagner (1964); to Pharetronida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Holcospongiinae by Finks et al. (2004).
