Paedotherium kakai
Taxonomy
Paedotherium kakai was named by Reguero et al. (2015). Its type specimen is S.Sal.Scar.Paleo.2012-045, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Peñas Blancas, which is in a Miocene fluvial sandstone in the Palo Pintado Formation of Argentina.
