Gigaphlebia riccardii
Taxonomy
Orthophlebia riccardii was named by Petrulevičius and Ren (2012). Its type specimen is CNU-MEC-NN2011001, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2011 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Jiulongshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Gigaphlebia.
It was recombined as Gigaphlebia riccardii by Soszyńska-Maj and Krzemiński (2018).
