Anas pachyscelus (Bermuda flightless duck)
Taxonomy
Anas pachyscelus was named by Wetmore (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 22506, a set of limb elements (left tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is H. Bernard Wilkinson Quarry, which is in a Pleistocene fissure fill horizon in Bermuda.
