Ponomarenkium belmonthense
Taxonomy
Ponomarenkia belmonthensis was named by Yan et al. (2017). Its type specimen is AM F40278, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Warner's Bay, Belmont (AMF coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Ponomarenkia, Ponomarenkium.
It was recombined as Ponomarenkium belmonthense by Yan et al. (2018).
