Taxonomy
Eudolatites was named by Delo (1935) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llde-u O Ashg-m Sepkoski's reference number: 574]. Its type is Dalmanites angelini.

It was assigned to Zeliszkellinae by Henry (1980); to Phacopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Dalmanitidae by Delo (1935), Jell and Adrain (2002).

D. M. Delo 1935Dalmanitinae without frontal border; frontal lobe more or less detached, protuberant; second and third glabellar furrows straight, rather narrow; eyes varying somewhat in position, usually large; genal spines may be present. Pygidium broadly subtriangular, border indistinct; pygorachis rather narrow, consisting of less than 15 annulations.
